Viva and Jerry's Country Music Videos (Our Neighbors)



Hello everyone, I know I have mentioned to some of you that our neighbors (to the North) are kind of famous around Minneapolis. (Even Jerry's thumb is famous it's named Cliff and sometimes has its own part of the episode. - He draws a face on it and it talks.) Just mention Viva and Jerry's Country Music Videos and ears perk up. They've been on the Daily Show a couple of times. In the Startribune a lot. I think they've even been on Leno and it's all because they have their own cable access show on Minneapolis Public Access.

Minneapolis Public Access allows anyone in the city of Minneapolis to take classes in video production. Once you have completed the classes you can host and film your own show. I think that's how Viva and Jerry got started, because Viva is listed as the producer.

When we first found out they had a show we were kind of bummed because we weren't planning on getting cable we wanted dish and unless you live in Minneapolis, you don't get the channel. So we weren't going to get it and no one else we knew was going to have it. So one evening we got determined and proceeded to pour through You Tube looking for clips of their show.

Success! We had trouble at first, we couldn't find it on the MTN website. Then we found a few other websites that referred to them, finally we gave up and tried YouTube and guess what we found? Clips from their show and other miscellaneous videos. These guys are awesome and hysterical! I just adore them! Talk about having a passion for life. Whenever we see them they are just so darn friendly. But what's a TV show without fun loving people? Check these out, I am sure you will love them too.

Viva and Jerry do a commercial for Pacifier (the expensive baby clothing store where Sarah Palin's aids bought the now famous baby outfit for her kid while it was on stage at the RNC). They are on from 0:59 to 1:50 skip the rest.

"I hear the train a coming its going round the bend and I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when..." Jerry sings the Folsum Prison Blues. His ode to Johnny Cash, he's a big fan and he loves to sing his country music songs.
