King George Roscoe P-Coltrane the First

King George Roscoe P-Coltrane the First
Viva and Jerry, from Viva and Jerry's Country Music Videos, love our little (relative term) basset hound. Jerry thinks he swaggers like a king, so we all started calling him King George. This is the picture we took of george this year (his crown is from BK) that we framed and gave to Viva and Jerry as a Christmas present.

Fun video

The online editors at work, Wes for the National Street Machine Club, received this in an email. I thought it was pretty funny, so I thought I'd pass it on. At first it seemed like something straight out of the Office. If only this was true. I'd have to get one to chase George around with, since he runs away from "traditional" RC cars. HA! :)

It's TUBBY TIME!!!

Guess who's going to the NCAA Tourney? WE ARE! Thank you Tubby Smith for creating a team that no longer makes me cry. I am the first one to admit that we have a long ways to go to become a very strong team, but boy has our improved team made me proud. I hope the boys enjoyed their victory because they have a lot of hard work to get prepared for the Texas Longhorns. (Who I really hope we cream because I really dislike them and their goofy uniforms.)

I have a minor bone to pick with the NCAA - how in the world did Duke and North Carolina end up playing in Greensboro, NC. Aren't those basically home games? Give me a break, like those two teams need any help? I can't believe that if we beat Texas we have to play Duke in North Carolina, BOO!

Go Gophers!

MxPx's New Cover Album -- March 24, 2009!

I cannot wait for March 24th!!! MxPx is releasing their second cover album - On the Cover II. It's all 80's songs and they have some great guest stars! If you cannot tell, I am super psyched. When we were at their most recent show in St. Paul, MN Tom did a wicked cover and I am thrilled because it made the CD! I think it was "Should I Stay or Should I Go" byt the Clash, it was so good though I can't exactly remember what song it was I just remember how amazed I was by him. I have never heard Tom sing lead and he did a great job with that song! There are a few songs I am not as familiar with because I just don't know 80's rock like a lot more kids my age who had older siblings but they have some gems on this CD! Check it out, I haven't heard but a few singles and a medley on their myspace page, but from what I have heard I and what I know of MxPx - I am SO pre-ordering this one so its on my doorstep on the 24th. P.S. Did I mention Agent M (who's real name is Emily - extra points) from Tsunami Bomb is guest starring!? :) The clips of her singing "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" by Belinda Carlisle -- AWESOME!
